Frontier Natural Products Co-op is a rapidly growing supplier of high quality organic and natural herbs and spices, and aromatherapy products, and is located in Norway, Iowa near Cedar Rapids.
The Vice President of Marketing will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. This new position will plan, direct, and coordinate marketing activities for the food and flavorings division which includes branded and private label products. The duties for this position will include the following: establishing and executing effective marketing strategies, implementing marketing initiatives that maximize sales opportunities, managing the P&L, supervising staff, overseeing promotional activities, and analyzing market data and making recommendations. This position will work effectively with a variety of departments to ensure optimal business growth and profitability.
This position requires an MBA with a marketing emphasis and a minimum five years of experience managing a marketing department within a consumer packaged goods company; or a combination of education and experience. Experience in natural foods and grocery highly desirable. Required skills include analyzing data using Excel and presenting information and strategic plans using Microsoft Power Point. This position requires excellent problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to supervise and motivate a dynamic marketing team.
